The visit aims to take stock of best practices and experiences of simplification and streamlining of the registration procedures for NGOs. It will later be used in improving the Ukrainian registration procedures for NGOs especially the work of a “one-stop” registration service for NGOs in Ukraine.

The 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. A nearly universally accepted instrument that has set standards for children's rights the world over!

20 November 2014 -- 20 November is celebrated as the international day for children. The United Nations General Assembly recommended in 1954 (resolution 836 (IX)) that all countries institute a Universal Children's Day, to be observed as a day of understanding between children and of activity promoting the welfare of the world's children. The date of 20 November marks the day on which the Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, in 1959, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), in 1989. Universal Children's Day 2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the CRC!

EU Analysis of the Ukrainian Law on Public Procurement

On 22 September the EU-funded Project “Harmonisation of Public Procurement System of Ukraine with EU Standards” will present the EU Gap Analysis of the Ukrainian Procurement Legislation to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

The purpose of the workshop is to present the Report on differences between the EU directives and national legislation and to discuss the role of the analysis in the strategy for Ukrainian legislation alignment according to the Association Agreement.
